Let’s be honest.

The Three-Line Protocol for AI Veracity


Add this to the end of every research-heavy prompt:


1️⃣ If you are unsure or information is missing, say “I don’t know” instead of guessing.

2️⃣ For each main claim, add a confidence label: (High), (Medium) or (Low).

3️⃣ At the end, list anything you’re unsure about or could not find.


That’s it.


Three lines that shift AI from “confident assistant” to transparent partner.


Why it works:


✅ Permission to fail breaks the forced-compliance cycle.

✅ Confidence labels make uncertainty visible.

✅ The uncertainty audit creates a built-in verification checklist.


Without this?


You’re hunting for errors buried in polished prose.


With it?


You know exactly where to apply human judgement. When you see (Medium) or (Low), you zoom in. You verify. You protect your credibility.


Speed without accuracy is reckless.


Speed with structured verification? That's a competitive advantage.


In an AI-driven economy, the winners won’t be the fastest prompt writers.


They’ll be the professionals who engineer reliability.


So here’s the real question:
